[ ETQ Amsterdam ] Product Review

Posted on

Introducing, [Product Review]. The latest addition to the Avid & Co. Journal. The concept behind this series, is to analyse merchandise used in our seasonal campaigns. We are determined to give our customer an insight into why we make the decisions we do, and to show that there is a thought process behind every decision.

For our first feature we have chosen to review our standout footwear choice from our recent S/S 2016 Campaign shoot. The product, the [ETQ Low 1 // Beige].

Footwear is probably the most important item for the shoots (apart from our clothing, of course) and finding a brand that mirrors our image and ethos can be very difficult. There is a time & a place for the Yeezy Boost & Air Max, but on our latest shoot we tried to look outside the box and to think deeper into a shoe that will aid our look, without distracting away from what the photoshoot is showcasing.

We came across this label on a recent trip to Amsterdam, and we were instantly taken back, the second we stepped foot into their store, down one of the cities many side streets. We love this product and everything the brand is about - Elegant aesthetics, Timeless style and undoubted Quality.

The sneaker contains a Calf Leather Upper with a clean White Rubber Sole unit. It also comes with a branded box, dust bag and a spare set of waxed laces. No stone left unturned. We selected the Beige colour way, as we felt it complimented our S/S 2016 colour palette. We paid €220 // £175 in a size EU 44 // UK 10. We would say that they fit true to size, however if you take half size we recommend going up to the nearest whole.

ETQ have recently released their new S/S 2016 collection, which is available to view here: www.etq-amsterdam.com/collection

We teamed the trainer up with our [Grey Marl Jog Short] & [Maroon Signature T-Shirt]. See the look here.
